This is the whitest white in Sherwin Williams’ collection. It’s a great choice for cabinets, trim, doors — and even walls.
While High Reflective White leans slightly warmer, it pairs well with cooler colors. It does tend to pick up on the colors around it. This means it could look a little too stark against a wall or floor that is a really warm hue with golden undertones.

2. Alabaster SW 7008
LRV: 82
Alabaster is a softer white with light cream/pale green undertones. It’s a great choice for shiplap walls (which are popular in farmhouse style interiors). It typically works best with other colors that have warm undertones.
It looks beautiful in both North and South facing rooms. Keep in mind that it will look even warmer in South or West-facing evening light.
3. Mindful Gray SW 7016
LRV: 48
Mindful Gray by Sherwin Williams is a neutral greige. It’s not too light or too dark, but a nice, mid-tone hue that’s incredibly versatile and could work in almost any room.

Modern Farmhouse Trim & Ceiling Colors

Keep in mind that, if your home has multiple levels, you could absolutely use two different whites. Just use one white paint color throughout each level.
